We all heard of Nulled Themes, and some of you used them on your site/blog even i am using it right now ūüėõ

Do the nulled themes/plugins contains virus/malware codes? Maybe, depends on your download source.

But, most of the times nulled-themes are not created with an intention to just create a backdoor in someones website.

Nulled Themes are just the original file with a few minor changes. As the premium themes need an activation key to use it on your website, so you can only use a theme on a single site. The developers just play with some Js/PHP codes to remove this limitation, and that is known as Nulled Theme.

Its not something that is free and designed for hacking into someone's website.

I do not agree with you...

Let imagine, You are a WordPress developer and created many theme for the Wordpress sites and fixed some price for them. It is because you did hard work for creating that theme and some people play game and make it available for free. So, what will you feel?

It is like you are using someone's work and did not pay any single penny for that...

Why Peoples are providing Nulled/Pirated/Cracked theme?

It might be designed for hacking or maybe for stealing SEO benefits for the sites which is using that nulled theme. However, No one should have rights to steal someone works, I have purchased the premium theme officially instead of using nulled themes.

From my side, I will never recommend any one to use a Nulled theme in any case, there are many free theme also available for WordPress everyone can use them.

I am also deleting the last line of the your post because I don't want that someone pushed into danger by you. Not deleting the whole topic because need some more replies to know what others are thinking.

Just saying a fact: not all nulled themes/plugins are designed for hacking or maybe for stealing SEO benefits.

Most of the nulled files contain virus if you download it from a public null provider.

I always use nulled themes/plugins from private websites which charge an amount to get access to virus-free files.

The only reason you should not use nulled themes/plugins is this:

Let me know if anyone disagrees with my statement ūüėČ

1 is That if the developer finds you then he can block your site by contacting the hosting provider...

2 they contain viruses...

3 I once used generate press premium nulled theme ... My whole site got damaged and I have to delete the whole site... That was the last time I used the nulled theme...

I also agree (@paritosh) with you that all nulled themes are not created for stealing SEO benefits or hacking. But why are you taking the risk, I have many feedbacks from the peoples who have used nulled themes and maximum of them lost their site as @piyushsuthar said above.

And the reason you shared above to not use Nulled themes is enough for me to avoid using a Nulled theme. I can't steal someone's rights...

@piyushsuthar No one can take down your website. Internet is free. You can do anything on your own site, excluding selling illegal things.
